Do you ship to my country?
Maybe... I'm not shipping to the UK/EU because I don't have the bandwidth to do VAT accounting correctly, but otherwise I do ship to any place that USPS ships to.
New countries are added manually, so if you get a message in the checkout flow saying I don't ship to you, please message me so I can fix it and add your country.
What does "Oskitone" mean and how do I pronounce it?
"Oskitone" is a made up word from:
- os·cil·late: move or swing back and forth at a regular speed.
From the Latin "oscillare," to swing. - tōn: vocal or musical sound of a specific quality.
Originally from the Greek tónos, pitch of the voice.
I changed the "C" in "Osci" to a "K" for a more intuitive pronunciation, OS·ki·tōn.
It is not of relation to the mascot, though I don't mind the association!
When are you bringing the OKAY Synths back?
I don't have an ETA on this, sorry!
There were a number of issues with the OKAY line (see "Lessons learned from the OKAY" section here) that I want to address before I'll feel good selling it again, and I'm not sure when that will be.
Can I get the design files for [some product]?
Absolutely!
All the new Oskitone stuff is fully open-source, and you can find a link to the source code and design on each product page.
Be forewarned, you'll need to use OpenSCAD!
How are shipments done?
All orders go out within two business days through USPS or UPS of payment, and you'll receive an email with tracking information as soon as it's available. Please note that it may be another day or two until you see any movement in the tracking.
Domestic orders typically take a week. International orders can take a month.
International orders may be subject to additional customs/brokerage fees at their destination, which are the responsibility of the buyer.
Can I get a bulk discount?
